Payments

1. EK Group LTD is a VAT registered company. All prices are exclusive of VAT charged at 20%.
2. Credit card payments are subject to a 2% surcharge. Debit cards have no surcharge.
3. Our payment terms for all bookings are: 50% deposit with the remaining balance due 24 hours prior to the booking. Wedding car hire payments will be taken minimum 7 days prior to the event.
4. Your booking may be subject to additional waiting time and car park charges except where this cost is incorporated into our package.
5. The charge on your credit card statement will be shown as EK Group LTD.
6. Any variations to the journey that involves extra time or mileage may be subject to additional charges.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. If a booking is cancelled by the Customer within 48 hours from the start of the period of hire, 50% of all monies paid will be non-refundable, see below for wedding bookings.*
2. If a booking is cancelled by the Customer within 24 hours from the start of the period of hire, we reserve the right to make full charge for the journey. If however the pick-up location necessitates the car being despatched more than an hour before the pick-up time we again reserve the right to make full charge for the journey.
3. If a wedding booking is cancelled within 2 months from the start of the period of hire, the deposit will be non-refundable. If a wedding booking is cancelled within 1 month from the start of the period of hire, the full hire amount will still be charged to the customer.*
4. If the passenger does not appear and make contact with our driver at the booked time and the designated pick-up point, we reserve the right to make full charge for the journey.

Terms and Conditions

1. EK Group request a minimum of 12 hours notice for any bookings.
2. We will endeavour to ensure vehicle(s) arrive at the time and place requested. We cannot however accept responsibility for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as mechanical failure, traffic jams, traffic accidents or extreme weather conditions. Nor do we accept responsibility for any consequential loss.
3. Clients are responsible for any damage they cause to the interior and or exterior of a vehicle on hire to them and will be billed accordingly for any repair or valeting required in order to reinstate a vehicle to working order.
4. The Driver will drive at safe and sensible speeds in accordance with road conditions, traffic and the legal speed limits.
5. The Driver will travel by the most appropriate route on the day, unless instructed otherwise by the Client, in which case Payment clause 6. may apply.
6. EK Group will keep a lost property book at their office, and will endeavour to return any lost goods left in our vehicle(s) or subcontracted vehicle(s) to the customer.
7. Unless specified at the time of booking, we may not automatically be able to accommodate additional pick-ups or drop-offs for any journey, although every effort will be made to meet such requirement.
8. If our driver is asked to wait either at the beginning or during a journey, waiting time is chargeable at our current standard rate.
9. Non-airport collections: Except for a 10 minute ‘grace’ period waiting charges will apply from the booked time, at our current standard rate.
10. We reserve the right to refuse entry to our vehicles to anyone who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and/or whose behaviour poses a threat to the safety of the driver, the vehicle or other passengers within the vehicle. We further reserve the right to terminate any journey due to unreasonable or improper behaviour by any passenger.
11. If special cleaning of any vehicle is required because it has been left in an unreasonable state by a passenger/client, we reserve the right to charge the cost of cleaning to that passenger/client.
12. We reserve the right to substitute any vehicle or chauffeur/driver.
13. Whilst we do our utmost to ensure our drivers are punctual, you will understand that we cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by circumstances outwith our control.
14. EK Groupmaintains a strict non-smoking policy in all its vehicles.
15. Nothing contained in these terms and conditions affects the Client’s’ statutory rights.

1. EK Group LTD are committed to protecting your privacy. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.
2. We will not transfer any information outside the European Economic Area. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
3. EK Group LTD only collect information about you to process your quote or booking requests.
4. The type of information we will collect about you includes: your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, credit/debit card details.
5. We do not store your credit/debit card information once your booking has been processed.
6. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent and you can be sure that under NO Circumstances will we divulge your information to any third party.
7. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing e-mail from us in the future.
8. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by e-mailing us. If you find any inaccuracies, we will delete or amend them promptly. If you have any questions or comments regarding privacy, please contact us.
